NOH8 Campaign Photo Shoot

Last weekend I did a photo shoot with a bunch of friends for the NOH8 Campaign that was started by photographer Adam Bouska (www.bouska.net) and his partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the Prop 8 legislation that was passed in November 2008. His photography campaign has taken off and has involved everyday Californians and many celebrities who are all fighting for equal rights for LGBT couples. He put a call out to others to submit images, so I got a group of people together to join the campaign. We had SUCH a fantastic time in the studio! Thanks to everyone who participated and who are fighting for equal rights for EVERYONE.

Christy & Ajith: Love Session!

Christy and Ajith are SUCH a wonderful couple. We went downtown in Minneapolis to do the first part of their engagement shoot because they love city life, lights, energy...then we went to King and I where they had their first date! It's such a beautiful restaurant and they LOVE food. Ajith is from India and had so many great stories to share about the cultural differences, cooking with Christy, and life together. Christy shared her secrets to a perfect curry-love it! I am so excited to photograph their wedding next year!
