Editorial: Amy Witt for MN Women's Press

Today I photographed Amy for a feature in the Minnesota Women's Press about people who are getting creative during difficult economic times. She was so kind and easy to photograph and her sister, who's house she was painting, offered me a bag of organic lettuce from her garden at the end of the shoot!

American Burlysque Show: The Ritz

This burlesque event was SO much fun! I set up a photo booth for guests to be ridiculous in before the show. The entire event was a fundraiser for The Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, which many of the performers will be going to. LOVE all of these people!

(and I even jumped in too with the lovely Ophelia Flame!)

MN Women's Press: Theresa Purcell

Today I photographed Theresa Purcell, who started The Natural Burial Project and does work with The Trust for Natural Legacies. Their goal is to promote green burials in Minnesota and are currently trying to secure funding for the green cemetery in the state.  Her work is very interesting and important, if you are interested in learning more or donating, please visit:

I had so much fun doing this shoot for The Minnesota Women's Press at Via's Vintage in Minneapolis. Caitlin, my friend and model for the shoot, was perfect. We stayed for hours playing with all of the clothes and accessories! 

Best of Midwest Burlesk Festival!
