Meghann and her mom came to the studio to do a session together as a holiday gift for Meghann's mom. She told me they wanted to do a vintage-themed shoot, which I immediately was excited to do. We played Otis Redding, Billy Holiday, Peggy Lee and had fun taking photos together. It was so nice to see their bond. This shoot made me want to photograph more moms and daughters in the coming year. Thanks to both of you for such a genuine, creative, meaningful shoot. Happy holidays!

Becky & Luke Engagement: Part 2!
Becky and Luke are such a wonderful couple. We did their first engagement session earlier this year and did the second last week, once it was snowing and cold outside. They both have a love for skating-Becky was a competitive figure skater and Luke plays hockey. They both teach hockey now and seeing them on the ice, I could tell how much they love it. We chose to go to The Depot in downtown Minneapolis at night. I decided to sport a pair of skates too, just for the pure fun of it! Let me tell you, trying to photograph on skates is a little tricky. We were all dodging little kids who would zoom past or waddle by, trying not to fall over. We had a great time and it was perfect timing right before Christmas. I can't wait for their wedding in May in Eau Claire, WI!
